Once upon a Summer

Once upon a time I was a blogger..... these days not so much!  We have done so much this summer it would be hard to write about it all and remember it, plus I haven't been to good at taking pictures (at least not with a real camera!)  So here is little bit of picture catch up from my phone.  Most have been on Instagram so they are repeats for some of you. 

 Gabby on a 3 mile bike ride while I ran.. We found this dragonfly, brought it home and put it in a jar. STINKY, it all ended up in the garbage. so much for being a bug collector.

 We celebrated the 4th of July out on a big farm.  It was a beautiful day and fun was had by all.

 We had a date, Elliot and parents date.  Bellingham Bells game, and frozen yogurt.

 We did a few of the all city track meets.  All ages, broken up by age and gender.  Gabby doing the hurdles.

 One of our beach days.  For a while we had so many amazing days of sunshine and heat that I took the crew of 4 kids to the beach at least a few times a week.  Some days we lasted about 30 minutes after hauling all our snacks, towels and toys.  Other days we lasted enough to wear us all out.

 The hair is still growing long.  There have been many pony tail parties.

 Daisy flowers stink, the kids are well aware of this and even like to "hide" them in the car for a laugh and surprise for me.

 We spent a weekend on Whidbey, discovered a new beach to relax at and enjoy amazing views of the ferry and Mt Rainer.

 We took a trip.  These two didn't remember flying even tho both have probably flown 50 times combined.  Bham to San Diego is such an easy and convenient flight, even if the airline is cheap (not in a good way) and noisy.

 Sister didn't want to share a bed with Brother, she said he would snuggle her.  Hmmm, this is what really happened.  

 We had an amazing, spoiled, fun, crazy adventure to Disneyland and California Adventure.  I hope to get around to writing more on that- but I really didn't take many pictures.  

 We played with cousins and Aunts and Uncles.  Elliot has a major love, and is still talking about Chloe.

 Three 6 year old cousins, filling out time in line with tricks like nostril sucking in.  There was also lots of hand clapping games.

 Coco was asleep, Elliot checked her heartbeat to make sure she was still alive! 

 We picked a few blueberries.
