We have been stuck in the house for going on 6 days now. Turns out a 2nd doctors appointment was needed today to diagnose the raging ear infection Gabby has had since her birthday. I had the Dr (the new office partner whom I will now be requesting to see rather than our normal one who just doesn't click with me) check Elliot's ears too since last night was miserable for all of us and at some point Elliot signed hurt and pointed to his ear. Yep, he has one too. Besides laying on the couch bundled in blankets and watching cartoons and movies I have been trying to get us to do something fun- without going out and exposing everyone to our "crud" the Dr said we had at our appointment Tuesday. Art is fun, and with all the wonderful new arts and crafts stuff Gabby got for her birthday we have been doing lots.

my first trip to a paint your own pottery studio with some friends. turned out much better than I expected, can you guess which one is mine? just bought a "groupon" so I can take Gabby one day- she wants to paint a glass slipper.

Elliot is into drawing on himself rather than paper. he loves to sit on that basketball, always.
